The Royal Dutch Football Association is the governing body of football in the Netherlands. It organizes the main Dutch football leagues (Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie), the amateur leagues, the KNVB Cup, and the Dutch men\u2019s and women\u2019s national teams. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With 1.2 million members, the KNVB is the largest sports association in the country.<\/p>\n<\/div>

For many years, the KNVB has been using VOKKERO ELITE communication systems for professional football in the first national league and VOKKERO SQUADRA in the second national league. Recently, it aimed to deploy audio systems in the top-level amateur men\u2019s and women\u2019s leagues (third national level). <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Previously, the KNVB used the VOKKERO SQUADRA system, developed before VOKKERO ELITE. On October 31st, VOGO discontinued sales of VOKKERO SQUADRA and launched its new VOKKERO UNITY<\/strong><\/mark><\/a> range, which complements our audio communication systems for all referees at every level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The VOKKERO UNITY<\/mark><\/a><\/strong> <\/strong><\/mark>kits have been deployed in football and futsal for the KNVB\u2019s first amateur league.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Simple communication with the assistant referee<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The assistant referee can give advice, cooperate, and discuss a situation with a referee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The VOKKERO UNITY <\/strong><\/mark><\/a>audio communication system will undoubtedly improve the quality of refereeing at this level of amateur sport,” says Ren\u00e9 Mijderwijk from the Referees Department.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Improving the level of young referees<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

“Young referees are trained and prepared for professional football through a talent program. With VOKKERO UNITY<\/strong><\/mark><\/a>, they can begin to gain experience using a communication system.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the beginning, once they are promoted to professional football, their level is already much higher when it comes to communicating with the assistant referees.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

“Improving quality”<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

“We use VOKKERO SQUADRA in the second national division, which is professional football. But today, the audio quality of the new VOKKERO UNITY<\/strong><\/mark><\/a> kits is better than that of VOKKERO SQUADRA. As a result, the audio quality in the third division is better than in the second division,” adds Ren\u00e9 Mijderwijk with a smile, “and today, we also use the VOKKERO UNITY<\/strong><\/mark><\/a> kits in our first national women’s league.” <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
