A subsidiary of the British group DS Smith, the Kunheim plant in the Bas-Rhin region specializes in the production of packaging, paper, and recycling services. Now operating internationally, the company has more than 30 sites across France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brief<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Kunheim plant operates two corrugators producing corrugated cardboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This noisy environment requires the use of hearing protection, making communication between operators very difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nearly 10 people work on each corrugator at the site, with an almost constant need for communication.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We installed the VOKKERO GUARDIAN solution across all the corrugators at the plant to restore communication, which had become almost impossible due to the noise generated by the machines and the significant distance between team members on site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With our audio communication solution tailored to the site\u2019s infrastructure, forklift drivers and operators can now communicate easily and efficiently. The wireless system provides greater freedom of movement and improved working comfort.
