FRENCH DATA PROTECTION ACT

Collected personal information: In France, personal data is specifically protected by Law No. 78-87 of 6 January 1978, Law No. 2004-801 of 6 August 2004, Article L. 226-13 of the French Penal Code and the European Directive of 24 October 1995.

In any case, VOGO only collects personal information relating to the user (name, email address, telephone number) relevant to the provision of the services offered, in particular through online forms or for the processing of statistical data. The user provides this information with full knowledge, in particular when they enter such information themselves. The user of the site is then informed as to whether or not the information that they are required to provide is mandatory. Correction of personal information collected: According to provisions of Article 34 of Law No. 48-87 of 6 January 1978, the user has a right to modify the personal information concerning them. To do this, the user sends Vogo: – either an email using the contact form – or a letter to the registered office address (indicated above) indicating their name or company name, their postal and/or electronic address, as well as, where applicable, the references which they have as a member of the VOGO site. The modification will be made within a reasonable period of time from receipt of the user’s request.

As part of its day-to-day operation, the site www.vogosport.com is likely to generate ‘cookies’.

A ‘cookie’ refers to a text file that can be saved, subject to user choices, in a dedicated area of the hard drive of the Internet user’s Terminal, when they consult the website. In order to manage the contract and perform the services you have subscribed to, your data may be transmitted:

o    To internal VOGO departments: the departments responsible for carrying out the subscribed services, in particular support and maintenance services, sales administration, marketing, accounting, human resources, operations, research & development, etc.

o    To providers external to VOGO: technical providers, including subcontractors who provide services or assistance and advice to VOGO and who have a need to know it

o    On request, they can also be transferred to persons and authorities whose right of access to personal data is recognised by law, regulations or provisions emanating from authorities empowered by law

o    To external bodies: public bodies within the framework of legal obligations

5) How long do we store your personal data?

The data that we process are kept for the time necessary to carry out the signed contract plus the retention period imposed by the applicable rules in terms of legal requirements.

6) Where are your personal data?

All the processing of your personal data is carried out on the territory of the European Union (EU).

However, if it happens that a VOGO subcontractor or partner is located outside the European Union and this subcontractor or partner is located in a country which has not been recognised as providing an adequate level of protection, VOGO would require it to comply with its requirements for the security and confidentiality of your personal data and to process your data only for the purposes it has determined. Such subcontractors and partners will have previously signed the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

 

7) How secure is your personal data?

VOGO undertakes to implement the technical and organisational means necessary to ensure the security of personal data against theft, loss, disclosure or unauthorised modification depending on the sensitivity of the data.

VOGO undertakes to take into account the protection of your personal data and your privacy when designing new products or services which are available to you.
