In the course of its activities, VOGO and its subsidiary VOGO UK (hereinafter referred to as VOGO) may collect and process personal data about you. VOGO places the protection of personal data at the heart of the products and services we offer you. VOGO undertakes to comply with the data protection regulations in force, and more specifically with the amended French Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as well as the European Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 said (hereinafter “RGPD”).

This policy sets out the principles and guidelines for the protection of your personal data and aims to inform you about :

  • Customers : Any legal entity or individual having subscribed to a contract with VOGO;
  • Prospects: Any person who is the subject of commercial or marketing operations, whether or not they have a contractual relationship with VOGO;
  • Candidates: Anyone applying for a job at VOGO;
  • Internet users : Any person browsing the website.

The terms used in this document have the following meanings:

Newsletter subscribers” : refers to any natural person who has requested to receive the VOGO newsletter by entering their contact details and validating their registration.

“Personal Data” or “Data”. means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier, such as a name, an identification number, an online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.

Internet user”: refers to any person accessing and browsing the site.

“Data controller controller: means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing operation; where the purposes and means of the processing operation are determined by Union law or by the law of a Member State, the controller may be designated or the specific criteria for designation may be laid down by Union law or by the law of a Member State.

“Sub-processor”: refers to the natural or legal person, public authority, department or other body that processes personal data on behalf of the data controller.

On the contact form and on the recruitment form, compulsory data is marked with an asterisk (*).

The data collected from you is necessary to provide the products and services offered. If you do not wish to provide the necessary data, VOGO will not be able to process your request.

For electronic communications, you can always unsubscribe by clicking on “unsubscribe”.

The use of data and information as described above is authorized by the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data (RGPD).

VOGO does not collect any sensitive data about you. If VOGO were to collect sensitive data from you, VOGO will delete it immediately after processing your request.

  • To whom are your personal data communicated?

For the purposes of managing the contract and providing the services you have subscribed to, your data may be transmitted to :

  • VOGO’s internal departments: departments responsible for the execution of the subscribed services, in particular support and maintenance, sales administration, marketing, accounting, human resources, operations, research & development, etc.
  • VOGO’s external service providers: technical service providers, including subcontractors who provide services or assistance and advice to VOGO and who need to know about them
  • On request, they may also be transferred to persons and authorities whose right of access to personal data is recognized by law, regulations or provisions emanating from authorities empowered by law.
  • To external bodies: public bodies within the framework of legal obligations ;

VOGO will not sell or rent your personal data to third parties without your prior consent.

  • How long do we keep your personal data?

These periods are increased by the retention periods imposed by the rules applicable in terms of warranty, legal prescription, litigation or by the legal and regulatory obligations incumbent on VOGO or its partners.

  • Where is your personal data?

All processing of your personal data takes place within the European Union (EU).

However, if a subcontractor or partner of VOGO is located outside the European Union and this subcontractor or partner is located in a country that has not been recognized as providing an adequate level of protection, VOGO will require it to comply with its security and confidentiality requirements for your personal data and to process your data only for the purposes that it has determined. Such subcontractors and partners will have signed the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

  • How is your personal data secured?

VOGO undertakes to implement the technical and organizational means necessary to guarantee a level of security appropriate to the risk in terms of confidentiality, integrity and availability of data.

VOGO is committed to protecting your personal data and privacy right from the design stage of any new products or services offered to you.

  • Exercising your rights regarding your personal data

Under the conditions provided for by the regulations on data protection you have :

  • a right of objection,
  • a right of access and communication,
  • a right of rectification,
  • deletion,
  • a right to portability,
  • a right to limitation

For processing based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to such withdrawal.

VOGO may nevertheless object to requests that are manifestly abusive, particularly in terms of their number, repetitive or systematic nature.
