VOGOSCOPE: VOGO technology serving the excellence of French swimming

The Aquatics Centre of Greater Paris recently hosted a new kind of training session. Swimming instructors and lifeguards from the Récréa club, along with Guillaume, coach of the brand-new swimming club, had the opportunity to get hands-on with VOGOSCOPE, the innovative video solution developed by VOGO.

Guided by Olympic champion Alain Bernard, sports consultant and VOGO ambassador, the participants discovered how this technology can transform their daily work as instructors and enhance the swimmers’ experience.

Deployed since 2024 at the Greater Paris Aquatics Centre, the VOGOSCOPE solution is part of a strategic partnership between VOGO and the French Swimming Federation (FFN).
Its goal: to optimize performance, pedagogy, and safety in the pool.

Thanks to a simple and intuitive video capture system, instructors can:

  • analyze swimmers’ movements in real time,
  • instantly correct technique,
  • replay key sequences to reinforce progress,
  • and enhance training by providing clear and motivating visual feedback.

This innovation puts video at the heart of training, making the tool accessible to both elite coaches and club instructors.

The training session at the Aquatics Centre provided an opportunity to combine expertise:

  • The advice of Olympic champion Alain Bernard, who shared his experience and passion.
  • The perspective of instructors and lifeguards, directly engaging with the practical use of the solution.
  • Support from the VOGO teams, on hand to guide users and answer practical questions.

Result: a rich and dynamic afternoon, where technological innovation and sporting experience came together to advance the development of swimming professionals.

With the support of the French Swimming Federation, VOGOSCOPE goes beyond being just a training tool. It becomes a true lever for:

  • improving swimmers’ performance,
  • enhancing safety in aquatic activities,
  • and democratizing access to video in sport.

This partnership perfectly illustrates VOGO’s mission: putting innovation at the service of sport, clubs, and instructors, from amateur to elite levels.

Beyond the technology, VOGOSCOPE embodies VOGO’s commitment to delivering tangible value to all stakeholders in the aquatic sector:

  • For instructors, it’s a powerful educational tool.
  • For swimmers, it’s a source of motivation and improvement.
  • For clubs and local authorities, it’s a modern, differentiating solution that enhances their facilities.

At VOGO, we are convinced that the future of sport relies on innovation and collaboration. The experience carried out at the Greater Paris Aquatics Centre with Récréa, the FFN, Alain Bernard, and all the lifeguards is a concrete illustration of this ambition: putting technology at the service of people, performance, and the joy of swimming.
