Vaud University Hospital surgeons equip themselves with VOKKERO GUARDIAN

The Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois uses Vokkero communication systems to ensure coordination between surgeons and technicians.

The VOKKERO terminal is used in particular by the radiodiagnostic and interventional radiology department of the CHU Vaudois.

During this type of operation, it’s vital to have the utmost precision in the medical gesture, as well as flawless coordination with the technical teams working in a separate room from the operating room. The GUARDIAN radio enables surgeons to communicate with technical teams at all times, thanks to its permanently open microphone.

Previously, the operating room was equipped with a ceiling microphone, and surgeons had to speak aloud to communicate with the technology. Patient quality and comfort were therefore not optimal!
