The International Volleyball Federation (the FIVB) and the European Volleyball Confederation (the CEV) have officially adopted our Vokkero® Squadra professional referee system for international and European competitions.

One of the first times our Vokkero® Squadra system will be used in competition is for the 17th women’s Volleyball World Championship 2014, which will be held in Italy between the 23rd of September and the 12th of October 2014 (after the Men’s Volleyball World Championship 2014, Poland).

24 teams from every continent (Asia and Oceania, Africa, Europe, North, South and Central America and the Caribbean) will be vying for the title. 102 matches will be contested over 15 days.

Every referee team (each consisting of two referees, an assistant referee and a referee (one person) at the scorekeeper’s table) will be fitted with our Vokkero® Squadra system.

About the tournament: Bari, Milan, Modena, Trieste, Verona… the 17th World Championship will be held across several Italian cities.
